Nice work, Eva. We have a hummingbird feeder, meticulously maintained by Daily, at our back door. Our only visitors have been Rufous-tailed Hummingbirds and a couple of Baltimore Orioles, though I´ve seen lists of as many as 54 species registered for Costa Rica. Enjoyed the post.

so I'm about to embark on this bicycle adventure. However, I am not a seasoned bicycle rider and I tend to fall more into the clumsy category. I also do not have a light on my bike. This being said, should I be alright? or should I abstain until I am a little more well off?

I do see the beautiful blue sky dotted with clouds and the Catalinas in the distance.

However, I see a parking lot under a paved paradise and four radio transmission towers.

I guess the expectation of a good view been eroded over the years 'round the ol' Pueblo, eh?

My parents used to live within walking distance of Tohono Chul, on Krizan Drive. Many, many wonderful memories of quiet walks spent there. Please keep me in your thoughts as I work to help me and my family return to Tucson from 10 years spent in the cold, humid DC area. Thank you for producing this blog. Tucson is also my querido, my beloved. I want to return there with my family, after a long absence, but this time I'll do it right!

I love to ski, it's my most favorite sport that I actually participate. For me, yes a lot of the fun is the acceleration and wind blowing across your face as you dip and dive down the mountain. But %50 of the fun, or maybe even more is the time spent with friends, having fun, apres ski cocktails, and just some great memories of a great day. To me, reading the blog post and seeing the pictures, I'd say it was a completely successful day at the slopes, sans skis. I wish I was there.

If you've not seen the "Man vs Food" episode about Tucson eateries, I suggest you get around to checking it out.

Adam "As-Brooklyn-New York-as-a-guy-can-be" Richman, actually uses the familiar southwest mexican/american buddy slang "buey" to refer to Guero himself.

Way funny.

Those "Sonoran Dogs" of his are such a departure from the Sonoran Mexican food that characterizes Tucson Mexican fare unless you happen to be from Hermosillo.
